Code of Conduct

Student Code of Conduct:

  •  Be responsible for your own behavior.

  • Use respectful language and tone with adults and peers.  Foul language, slurs, or inappropriate imagery are not tolerated (Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good, for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear – Ephesians 4:29).

  • Respect the health and safety of yourself, staff, volunteers, and others.

  • Give full attention and effort during instruction and work times.  A student should not make the choice to sit out or be disruptive of any activity.

  • Challenge themself to utilize content and experiences that are out of one’s comfort zone or personal interests as opportunities for academic and personal growth.

  • Maintain a positive attitude, building one another up with encouragement and a team mentality during new learning and social opportunities.

  • Build one another up with encouragement, paying attention to the needs of others in the whole group (Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing – 1 Thessalonians 5:11).

  • Be respectful of the space Faith Bible Church is allowing us to use as guests. Use property and equipment appropriately, for their intended purposes only.

  • Clean up after oneself and leave the space in better condition than when you arrived.

  • Interact with others using the Fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control – Galatians 5:22-23).

  • Zero tolerance/immediate dismissal for drinking, smoking, drugs, weapons, or sexual conduct.

  • Adhere to our Technology Policy.

  • In the event of an incident involving peers or an adult, please seek assistance from a Compass Director, immediately.
